Community Access
The Strong’s community access programs, such as Nurse Family Partnership; Big Brother, Big Sister; Monroe Region Waiver Services; and Monroe County Play Access make museum admission possible for Rochester-area children and families who might otherwise not have this opportunity. These programs ensure that each year thousands of children and adults with financial, physical, or social limitations can visit the museum and experience its rich educational resources and unique, playful environment.
SNAP/EBT – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Discount
The museum offers a discount on general admission fees to individuals who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Each guest showing an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and matching personal identification may purchase admission for him/herself and up to three additional guests at $5 per person. This reduced price may not be combined with any other discount, is not applicable on any other tickets, and is not available online.
Individuals who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits receive a $74 discount on a Basic-level $199 membership (or higher a higher level) as well. This reduced price may not be combined with any other discount, is not applicable on any other tickets, and is not available online.
