The Strong National Museum of Play began with a vision—and a generous gift from founder Margaret Woodbury Strong. Before she died in 1969, Margaret bequeathed her estate to help support the creation of the museum, which included her vast personal collections and considerable wealth.
The Woodbury Society recognizes those individuals who had the foresight and thoughtfulness to make bequests and other planned gifts to The Strong National Museum of Play. Much like Margaret, members of the Woodbury Society play a vital role in ensuring the stability of The Strong and its ongoing service to families, schools, and individuals.
We invite you to join the Woodbury Society by planning your legacy gift to The Strong today. By doing so, you will help to ensure that The Strong can provide future generations with the ability and space to imagine, learn, and play. Your investment supports the future of play as an educational force that brings us all together.
Planned gifts may be made using any of the following vehicles:
It is important to consult with a financial advisor before making major financial decisions.
