Visiting the Wegmans Super Kids Market Exhibit
I am going to visit the Wegmans Super Kids Market exhibit at The Strong Museum. The market looks a lot like a real Wegmans.
Museum hosts will be wearing blue shirts, and some may wear a mask. I might see museum workers cleaning and smell cleaning supplies while I am visiting. I can help keep the museum clean, too, by cleaning my hands.
Before I enter the market, a museum host will ask me if I have been in the market before. I will answer yes or no. The host will remind me that I am allowed to shop for five items.
I can get a cart or basket and begin shopping. When I have picked my five items, I can go through the check-out line at a cash register. There might be another child at the register pretending to be a cashier. I will wait my turn, or I can look for an open register to scan items by myself. After my food has all been scanned, I will put the food into a bin to be cleaned.
If I do not want to collect food and go through the check-out lane, I can play in the Market Café. I can pretend to be a café worker and serve pretend food to other children. There is a pretend television station in the back of the market. I can ask my adult to take me there.
I will stay in Wegmans Super Kids Market with my adult until we are ready to leave together. The market is colorful and fun. I am going to have a great time!
