Upper-Level Membership

When you become an upper-level member to The Strong, you cast a vote of confidence in a community cornerstone that offers transformative educational programs and unique cultural experiences. As an upper-level member, you provide critical support for the preservation of the world’s most comprehensive collection of toys, dolls, games, and other historical materials related to play and help fund dynamic exhibits and collaborative community initiatives.

All upper-level membership categories—Benefactor, Sustaining, Leading and Presidential—come with a unique suite of benefits that allow you and your family to enjoy the museum experience again and again throughout the year.

Presidential Members ($5,000)

Presidential members receive free year-round access to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden, year-round free train and carousel rides, invitations to exclusive engagements such as behind-the-scenes museum access, exhibit and collections preview parties, and much more!

Presidential member benefits include:

• Free museum admission for 2 named adults residing at the same address and up to 4 children or grandchildren age 18 and younger
• Free general admission for up to 6 guests per visit
• Free year-round butterfly garden admission, and train and carousel rides
• 1 complimentary Basic-level membership to share or donate
• A private tour for up to 10 people (must be arranged in advance)
• Invitations to exclusive engagements such as insider tours, preview parties, and family events
• 6 general admission tickets
• 6 Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden tickets
• $1 general admission discount for guests
• 10% discount in museum shops every day
• American Children’s Museum (ACM) Reciprocal Network Benefit: 50% off general admission for up to 6 individuals at participating museums

Leading Members ($1,000)

Leading members receive invitations to exclusive engagements such as behind-the-scenes museum access, exhibit and collections preview parties, and special events for families. You may even book a private tour of the museum for up to 10 guests.

Leading member benefits include:

• Free museum admission for 2 named adults residing at the same address and up to 4 children or grandchildren age 18 and younger
• Free general admission for up to 4 guests per visit

Benefactor, Sustaining, Leading, and Presidential level membership contributions made in excess of the value of the goods and services received are tax deductible to the extent the law allows. Please refer to your membership acknowledgement letter for the estimated value of the goods and services received. Due to IRS restrictions, we are unable to accept payment for a membership from a donor-advised fund.
